What is a good age to swith from a nursery (crib, changing table, etc) to a toddler room?
It is good to keep them in the crib for as long as possible (ie they start crawling out or they turn 3)
When they transition, they often lose their afternoon nap, if they are too young they also get out of bed frequently at night. This can cause a cycle of unnecessary sleep problems.
Great reasons to transition early include: the baby can crawl out of the crib, a new baby, moving, or the toddler requests a big kid bed.
